How Injectables Could Help
So, how do Dysport cosmetic injectables work? It’s all about managing muscle activity in your face.
As you age, moving the muscles in your face can create wrinkles and fine lines. When we inject Dysport into these muscles, it attaches itself to specific muscle receptors in your face, preventing the production of creases. Dysport does not affect the nerve signals in your face, so you’ll still retain full function of these muscles.
It takes about 2 weeks for Dysport to set in, but the results should last for over 4 months. We can recommend additional treatments as you need them.
Why We Use Dysport
Dysport is similar to Botox, another anti-aging treatment many practices may use to address wrinkles and fine lines.
We choose to use Dysport because of how it interacts with the muscles in your face and how fast our patients see results. The molecular weight is less than Botox, meaning that it diffuses into your muscles faster. In some cases, Dysport patients may see results in less than 24 hours!
